Zoltar acknowledges your presence and invites you to approach him. Once you insert a quarter (coins may be removed), Zoltar nods his head up and down as his crystal ball illuminates and he sweeps his hand back and forth. From Vinyl to MP3
Long before there were MP3 files, CDs, cassettes, and even 8-tracks, there was the "original" vinyl album. For those of you that still have a vinyl albums laying around, Ion has created the first USB turntable to let you convert them to CD or MP3 files.
The first USB turntable that lets you convert your old vinyl collection directly to CD or MP3, the Ion Audio iTTUSB is a must for people who don't want to deal with clumsy adapters or mismatched software when transferring formats. Requiring no special drivers, the turntable comes with Audacity, a recording application that works with both PCs and Macs, as well a trial version of Bias Soundsoap 2 to clean and restore vinyl recordings. As an alternative, the turntable also works with any other software that supports USB audio input sound cards. Water Alarm
The prospect of a water leak is bad enough, but a sneaky water leak--the kind that goes undetected until the otherwise preventable damage is beyond the point of quick repair--is far worse. Sonin's wireless water alarm, with its transmitter range of up to 50 feet, will fix this problem by alerting you to leaks near your hot water heater, washing machine, dishwasher, sump pump, or other water-bearing unit. You can even use it when filling a tub or a swimming pool; when the mountable sensor detects water, the alarm goes off. It's easy to use, too: simply mount the remote sensor in the desired location, hang the transmitter within 6 feet, and place the receiver within your range of hearing. The unit comes with an AC adapter but can also be powered by batteries. In the event of a leak or overflow, the alarm will sound for up to three days (provided no one responds initially). The wireless water alarm also comes with a security code setting to avoid false triggering.
Sonin Wireless Water Alarm is available at Amazon.com

- Bejeweled for iPod
This action puzzle game is available for practically every platform known to man; fortunately, the iPod version of Bejeweled is a surprisingly good one.
- Pac-Man for iPod
